Market Delivery Manager

Customer Delivery Europe is part of the Global Customer Delivery and Europe International Markets organization and plays a critical role ensuring the flawless delivery of Mastercard products and solutions for our customers.

We partner with global and regional business units to provide value through our innovation and expertise; whilst delivering customer solutions flawlessly. We make it happen!

For the Mastercard office in Vienna/Austria we are looking for a Manager Market Delivery.

Ideal candidates for this position have a passion for managing projects in a technical environment. Knowledge of card payments and related processes would be of advantage. However, career changers, coming from other parts of the payment ecosystem with an affinity for technical topics and project management should feel addressed too. A quick grasp and a strong analytical mindset are as much a prerequisite as very good knowledge of common MS Office programs (especially Excel and Access) and good communication and presentation skills. Basic knowledge of APIs would complete the picture As an international company, your internal counterparts when managing projects will be based in other countries. Very good written and spoken English skills are therefore required.

Your Role:

• responsible for the program and project management and timely delivery of products and services to our customers

• Manage all customer and MasterCard generated projects using effective project management skills.

• Manage and provide customers with business, operational and technical support

• Understand the project scope and functional requirement specifications as required.

• Work collaboratively with customer Implementations Team and facilitate the customer communication with various internal teams.

• Escalation point of contact for projects associated with respective accounts

• partner with the sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure clear and required solution definition for the client with a proposed implementation plan

• acting as the knowledge expert on the market technology infrastructure for all stakeholders

• Analyze, Identify and improve customers operational performance and profitability through reviews and continuous customer engagement.

• Functional and Operational escalation point for the customers

• Execute the training and delivery of MasterCard products, implementations and releases

• Identify customers business needs, participate in solutioning and provide operational and business consultancy

• Continuous learning of new products and align with the division and company goals.

All About You:

• Ability to quickly understand, assess, simplify and articulate complex business and technical challenges / solutions

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a structured and organized manner, while subject to conflicting priorities

• Strong communication skills (oral and written)

• Experience in managing complex projects / programmes and processes

• Ability to document/package service proposals.

• Comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment

• Impactful influence. Knows how to persuade others in order to achieve goals

• Ability to come with creative ideas to improve current processes and products

• Understanding of payment ecosystem and value chain

• Deployment experience with digital and remote commerce payments solutions is a plus

• Experience with APIs is a plus

• Formal project management skills is a plus

• German native speaker or adequate German language skills required. Fluent in English. Other languages as an asset.
