As the EP Market Consultant, you will play an important role in driving our AfterMarket Technical Marketing plans globally and supporting the AfterMarket strategy.

Job Duties:

Helps the Sales organizations and Dealers better understand and support the EP AfterMarket offerings by way of technical content development while working closely with external and internal partners globally. Identifies appropriate content to be delivered and provides education to enhance customer journey and user experience. This position supports the global AfterMarket technical needs and is both a strategic and tactical role.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide Technical Marketing support for AfterMarket offerings to ensure availability of technical content in a timely and qualitative manner.
• Participate in Project meetings on a regular basis, gather inputs and translate them into Marketing deliverables.
• Work with Cat Translation Services and external Agencies for providing multi-language translations.
• Collaborate with EP Global teams for identify and implement technical content related strategies and plans.
• Create, develop and offer new technical content pertaining to but not limited to spec sheets, one page flyers, brochures, mobile apps and videos.
• Co-ordinate presentation creation with SME’s, execute training course creation, schedule launch meetings and upload to the relevant systems, edit and publish training videos, presentations and product support news. 
• Collaborate with the AfterMarket MarCom team to help build the value prop messaging to the external world and enhance the Customer Experience related to the Awareness & Consideration part throughout the buying journey.                                                   
• Support Dealers and Cat Sales with customized technical content on need basis.
• Address technical queries from Customers and Dealers.

Basic Requirements:

• Degree in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent.
• The incumbent should have extensive product technical knowledge in the fields of Mechanical and Electrical.
• Must be a strong team player and a good communicator as the job requires collaboration with multiple work groups internally and externally. The job requires working with teams in several time zones and different regions.
• Must be results oriented with a good analytical ability.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Familiarity with Electric Power products and systems.
• Understanding of Cat brand guidelines and Enterprise compliance requirements.
• Experience in a dealer and/or customer facing support role.
• Familiarity in usage of software like Adobe InDesign & Photoshop and exposure to Caterpillar platforms & systems like EMC, EDDC, PowerNet, Cat.com, CAL and TMI would be an added advantage.

• This role is located in Bangalore, India.
• Must be willing to undertake moderate travel if required, globally.
