JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for supporting the implementation of Smart Factory. This includes working with the ERP System (Oracle), MES System (Apriso), and SCADA system (Ignition) in a cross functional environment along with information systems, engineering, supply chain and operations. The focus of this initiative is to help as needed in updating systems, articulating business processes in a consistent media type (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and data validation as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately document and communicate new processes and or requirements in Smart Factory systems with specifications as necessary to deliver needed solutions. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of or is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and or Information Systems with an emphasis on understanding process and systems.

• Analyze and offer recommendations to improve current systems.

• Update and validate data in systems as needed.

• Assist management in identifying weaknesses and recommend solutions.

• Determine tasks for implementation of new processes.

• Create, update, modify processes and or systems as required.

• Create training material to support new processes.

• Appling data science/ML to problem solving.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuing 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering and or Information Systems

• Ability to work effectively with people of varying technical or manufacturing experience

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Excellent communication/interpersonal/organizational skills
