Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and be a part of our Payload and Ground Systems division in our Commerce, CA facility. Commerce is the leading supplier of pressure vessels and tank hardware to the aerospace industry.

Overview:

The Manufacturing Expeditor expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma

Working knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality basics and engineering flows

Experience creating production schedules, and working with MRP systems

Experience tracking and reporting statuses

Good communication skills

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Valid California State Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates Degree and experience in a manufacturing environment

Salary Range: $35,400 USD - $59,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
