Position Summary
​​​​​As a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Associate Intern on the Corporate IT Digital Plant MES team, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, maintenance, and support of a common library of objects and recipes that are utilized by manufacturing plants worldwide and support the continued evolution of tools and capabilities for improved end-user experience.
You will work with management, engineering, manufacturing, vendors, and IT resources from ERP/LIMS/CMMS and other systems to deliver enhancements to the MES platform. You will also have an opportunity to work with a variety of technologies such as C#/VB.NET, VBScript, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, OPC, HMI, barcode scanners, and RFID.

What You Will Learn
The MES Associate internship position will allow the intern to learn and develop on the various technologies that go into building, supporting, and maintaining BMS's Enterprise MES solution. This can include building recipe objects with Syncade Recipe Authoring (RA), coding RA behaviors utilizing VBScript, using HTML/CSS to build user displays or batch reports, utilizing SQL to obtain data to support site queries, unit or system testing to validate any current MES objects, or working with the manufacturing sites to build out recipes for their processes, and the list goes on. Because of the many facets of MES, this position would support intern development by allowing the intern to learn and develop on the skills that interest them.

Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from June 2022- May 2023
Candidates must be available to be able to commute to the BMS- Tampa, FL location for the year internship (Up to 40 hours per week in summer and up to 20 hours per week in fall & spring)
Candidates must be actively enrolled in school during the internship with a graduation date of May 2023 or later
