 Baker Hughes Bently Nevada offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software and services that help achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible.

 

Partner with the best
 As Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide support for solving complex technical problems that arise in manufacturing production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.

 As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Designing assembly and test tooling/fixtures, procurement coordination and validation of designs.
  • Developing assembly processes and procedures.
  • Providing electro-mechanical support to the production floor.
  • Preparing and releasing work instructions detailing critical assembly operations.
  • Creating product routings.
  • Supporting all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production through to project close out.
  • Influencing design to ensure new designs are optimised for manufacturability, performance, yield and cost.
  • Contributing to process mapping activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build/test processes.


Fuel your passion
 To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline.
  • Have knowledge of design for manufacturability, lean manufacturing techniques, quality system and SPC tools.
  • Be a good team player and display good communication and problem solving skills
  • Be able to interpret engineering drawings/specs and manufacturing processes/evaluation.
