Partner with the best

As a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

  • Improve yield, manufacturing efficiency, and product quality by developing and implementing best practices and standards for production sites.
  • Introduce manufacturing methodology, processes, and knowledge to third party vendors
  • Work with manufacturing teams to meet production targets while reducing manufacturing costs
  • Review and modify engineering and manufacturing documentation as needed
  • Utilize change management tools and processes to minimize disruptions in manufacturing workflow

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in supply chain or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and procedures used in the design, construction, testing, and packaging of electronics and drilling/measurement systems.
  • Exposure to test hardware and software used to test components, assemblies, and systems
  • Self-contained, self-motivated and structured to work within a worldwide functioning interdisciplinary team
  • Good written and verbal English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures.

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge of products in Baker Hughes’s Drilling Systems portfolio
  • Knowledge of vacuum vapor phase soldering processes for electronics designed for 175 C applications
  • Knowledge of staking, masking, coating and q-packing procedures for electronics, sensors, and batteries
  • Good knowledge of SAP data management systems and MaPs integration
  • Exposure to Six Sigma tools and processes
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes for Multi-Chip-Modules
  • Highly interested in working in an international team
