As Manufacturing Associate, you will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops.

As Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Performing inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment
• Determining and execute the methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for work completion
• Working from engineering drawings, sketches, datasheets, specifications, and the computer
• Determining the appropriate course of action to effectively execute the processes required
• Working effectively in a team environment

Associates:

• Work in the shop environment, around approved chemicals, a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting (non-air conditioned facility)
• Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs
• Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, as required
• Exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, as required
• Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects, as required
• Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending, and other physical activities

There are 2 primary shifts for these positions:

• First Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
• Second Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:30PM - 11:00PM
• This is an hourly position with high potential for overtime work including outside of standard shift hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
• Minimum of 6 months of professional work experience
• Willing and able to work in the shop environment, around approved chemicals, a minimum of 8 hours per day exerting constant pushing, pulling, stretching, bending and other physical activities, and lifting objects weighing up to 40 lbs
• Willing and able to work overtime including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Able to work Mon-Fri, 600AM - 230PM AND/OR Mon-Fri, 2:30PM - 11:00PM
   

Desired Characteristics:

• Operation/use of various material conveyance systems, personal computer, Microsoft Office software, E-mail, packing materials.
• Ability to carry out detailed instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to use a passive vocabulary; to read instructions, safety rules, etc.
• Ability to work at a proficiency level with moderate Supervision, follow work rules, safety practices, work procedures; meet deadlines, punctuality and attendance standards; work overtime; etc.
