This role will focus primarily on leading the coordination, development and delivery of financial planning and advice. This is inclusive of the Advice and Planning Group, financial planning platform, financial planning execution and support, financial planning implementation and client impact, as well as financial planning related: advisor development, sales processes, practice management, change and performance management, including management routines and coaching for financial planning and advice delivery. The role will have a strong focus on identifying and applying best practices across industry trends, Truist business lines, applying efficient and effective repeatable processes focused on producing business results, leveraging team members, knowledge assets, competitive intelligence, technology and other resources. This role will develop and oversee the execution of financial planning and related programs that provide the knowledge and skills needed for advisors and their managers to meet business goals and objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees the financial planning and the delivery of advice across the bank, particularly Truist Wealth. It includes the strategy and maintenance of the financial planning platform as well as the execution of planning deliverables, sales processes, practice management, management routines and coaching. This includes recommending business solutions that will enable all to maximize staff performance to meet or exceed business unit goals and objectives.
Oversees the development, design and execution of the financial planning platform for the bank. The financial planning platform includes the tools, support, education, and reporting necessary to maintain and deliver a high quality advice experience for clients and to also achieve business results.
Oversees the design and delivery of all financial planning related practice management and consultative sales curriculums that promote the process of meeting client needs within a trusted advisory relationship by providing best-in-class products, solutions and services. The approach will also leverage the company\'s legacy, objectives, high quality advice and enhance credibility. Incumbent to provide the necessary tools to enable their team, and thus the entire sales organization; to adapt to changing goals by teaching financial planning, practice management, consultative sales and sales coaching techniques, fostering a learning and positive change environment, and by promoting and supporting business initiatives.Â
Responsible for leading efforts and focusing on how people respond to and navigate change, to improve performance as well as leading financial planning, practice management and consultative sales processes and learning. This involves affecting how people think, what people do and creating a bias toward action. Also included is incorporating the on-going discipline to ensure the right behaviors occur on a daily basis - encompassing measurement, reward system, feedback process and management coaching and oversight. Assist the business lines with planning and managing small and large-scale changes required to execute and sustain critical business strategies.Â
Must be knowledgeable in financial planning, related planning platforms, and industry trends. Must be adept at developing and leading conceptual strategies, delivering implementation solutions, while still providing \"hands on\" implementation support. Must be able to manage ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and perform well in stressful environments while working independently or on a team.Â
SUPERVISOR/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will directly supervise the Advice and Planning Group comprising the following teams: Strategy and Execution, Consulting, the Center of Excellence, Regional/In-Market Teams, GenSpring Advice and Planning. They are required to self-manage their teams and projects, work with others on the team, and are accountable to line managers for meeting commitments, budget, and business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

* College degree
* One or more financial planning related, industry recognized, designations or certifications
* Expert communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
* 8-15 years of leadership experience in financial planning, and planning related practice management and coaching
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, including excellent professional presence, effective at building relationships with colleagues across multiple business lines, coaching and development, and team members to ensure success of business initiatives.
* Ability to function as member of a team and comfortably interact with Fortune 100 managers and executives
* Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities, multi-tasking
Preferred Qualifications:
* Specialist level knowledge of financial planning, practice management, consultative selling, and performance coaching techniques and their application in retirement, investment and personal financial planning.
* Uses a consultative approach to customer\'s business needs, is able to develop and present appropriate recommendations and consistently provides solutions for performance issues and goals.
* Strong applicable business knowledge and experience, both strategic and tactical
* Assist management in the evaluation of program effectiveness.
* Ability to work independently and proactively with quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills
* Specialist level knowledge of change management, adult learning theories and facilitation techniques.
* Knowledge of design and development of effective material to support program integrity.
* Knowledge of performance technology/consulting.
* Client service techniques and sales concepts sufficient to inspire more sales of appropriate products.
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
