Role Summary
The Manager, Uniform Programs is responsible for executing on the strategy and leading the uniform programs across Alaska Air and Horizon Air. As a people leader, the Manager, Uniform Programs leads and establishes priorities for the Fit Center team and operations while partnering cross-divisionally, and is responsible for quality, safety, inventory, budgets and oversight of the end-to-end garment supply chain.
Key Duties
Oversees the day-to-day and long-term planning for a custom uniform program that supports more than 20,000 employees.
Responsible for Uniform Business Partner relationships, assuring performance expectations are met and effective KPIs and SLAs are integrated and achieved.
Establishes and implements ongoing inventory forecast and strategy, ensuring product availability and inventory liabilities are managed effectively.
Collaborates with Finance and Operating divisions to confirm seasonal buy-plans align with hiring and budget requirements, and support AAG’s financial and operational performance goals.
Cultivates strong partnership with Marketing to assure quality, delivery and experience deliver the uniform brand vision goals.
Responsible to ensure garments and products meet safety, sourcing and performance requirements, including the determination of appropriate audit cycles and processes.
Leads selection of uniform suppliers, including the direction to evaluate new sourcing partners and distributors.
Leads a team of Fit Center coordinators to deliver an outstanding experience for both new hires and existing employees, reinforcing pride, fit and compliance.
Establishes the vision, experience and critical points in delivering the new hire Uniform teaching/fitting experience; working to continuously improve and evolve the program.
Partners with operational, marketing and labor leaders to capture and communicate uniform issues, leading resolution efforts.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and professionalism during high pressure situations.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
5 years of experience working with vendor and account management supporting large-scale programs and complex projects.
2 years of leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business administration, or related area, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Demonstrated experience with inventory management, planning and forecasting, budget management.
Knowledge of fashion and market trends.
Excellent at collaborating cross-divisionally to drive results.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Exceptional time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing objectives and tasks.
Customer service experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
