We are currently looking for a talented and committed manager for the newly created position “Manager TUI Cars Contracting and Project Management (m/w/d)”. In this position you will be responsible for the conclusion of TUI GROUP-wide, profit-optimized car rental contracts as well as all projects for the sustainable expansion of the TUI GROUP car rental business.

ABOUT THE JOB

• You lead, motivate and develop your employees (currently 4) and ensure an efficient organizational and operational structure
• You use the TUI Leadership Model and lead your employees through transparency of goals and expectations, motivation, performance appraisals, as well as personnel development and regular feedback based on these
• You are responsible for the acquisition of global and local car rental partners as well as for the negotiation and conclusion of TUI GROUP-wide, margin-optimised car rental contracts. In doing so, you will focus on building and maintaining partnerships with car rental partners
• Permanently conducting structured market and competitor analysis and deriving appropriate measures
• Monitoring, management and settlement of the performance components of the rental car contracts
• Participation in the (further) development of the car rental and camper strategy in cooperation with the Heads of Product & Pricing TUI Cars, Product Management TUI Camper and the line manager as well as with the respective Group companies, if applicable
• You independently create business cases to evaluate the developed strategic measures
• Responsibility for the implementation of the car rental and camper strategy in project work. Thereby leading and motivating national and international project teams (if necessary in matrix structure)

ABOUT YOU

• Completed degree in business administration/economics or comparable training
• Several years of relevant professional experience as well as leadership and/or project management experience
• Extensive experience in a purchasing function (independent negotiation and conclusion of contracts)
• Knowledge of the international rental car market desirable â€“ if possible, an existing network to global and local rental car suppliers
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) – especially Excel
• Knowledge of car rental specific systems is desirable
• Negotiation skills in English
• Negotiation skills in German desirable
• Negotiation skills and the ability to think and act entrepreneurially
• Quick comprehension, analytical thinking skills and the ability to understand and structure complex issues and processes
• Ability to drive change actively
• High affinity for technical innovations
