Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be located in either San Diego or Palmdale, California. The candidate will act as the Primary Material CAM for a large business area and manage a team of six work package managers with the goal of optimizing Material EAC accuracy for the program. This manager will be responsible for setting and operating to objectives and providing mentorship to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy.

Essential Functions:

Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for Material CAM duties and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree with 5+ years’ experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years' experience in the following areas: Project management, global supply chain (GSC), and/or similar related areas.

Experience leading a process, project or team

This position requires an Active DOD Secret Clearance, with investigation completed within the last 5 years, as well as ability to obtain a Program Special access within a reasonable timeframe, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Earned Value Management (EVMS)

Preferred Qualifications:

CAM certification

GSC, Material Cost Management, or Project Management experience

Master's degree

SAP

Supplier Management

Experience in GSC project management

DoD Top Secret Clearance and/or Active AP-418 Program Access

Ability to create strategies that shape the future and inspire the team, resulting in sustainable value and performance.

Ability to deal effectively with change and challenges and helps others to do the same

Salary Range: $130,500 USD - $195,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
