Recruit and hire exceptional engineering talent and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
Work with other engineering teams to identify and anticipate changing requirements and opportunities to improve the development environment.
Partner with our Enterprise Operations teams to provide world class support to our customers.
Manage on and offshore team members to build out consumer activity and relationships across all of Cox Automotive.
Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to prioritize, plan and schedule work.
Communicate status, risks, and requirements to other groups.
Provide technical and non-technical guidance to the team, both individually and as a group.
Facilitate continuous learning and improvement for the team and its members.
Maintain a focus on protecting production.
Create and manage KPI's and efficiency of operational stability.
Create and manage Cost KPIs.
Interact and proactively communicate with teams who partner with Cox Auto Consumer Data.
Participate and lead discussions with Vendors as needed (AWS, etc.)
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $142,300 – 158,100. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.
Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years of experience with at least 1 to 2 -year experience in a management or lead role.
Strong, hands-on technical track record
Experience working with offshore partners
Experience driving strategic direction with operations
Ability to communicate ideas, alternatives, and solutions with distributed teams.
Proven ability to be self-directed and operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
You are enthusiastic and passionate about what you do,and use that to help motivate diverse groups.
You understand how a great manager can lead a team to achieve more than the sum of its members.
