Job Summary:
The DGE Sensitive Information Protection group serves as a center of excellence for segment specific requirements relating to the proactive protection of the company’s most sensitive information assets. The group embeds resources within segments that create highly valuable information, and coordinates with segment staff to design, implement, manage, and optimize programs specific to these segment requirements and business objectives.
The Manager, Sensitive Information Protection, reports into the Director, Sensitive Information, based in Glendale and is responsible for establishing, planning, managing, and driving Sensitive Information and Content Security projects and operational activities specific to Content Security, Discovery and Third Parties Management, linked to the creation of the Company’s Television and Digital productions.
Responsibilities:
- Content Security related support of Walt Disney’s Television and Streaming productions
- Security assessments and vetting of Walt Disney’s Television and Streaming productions third party service providers and vendors
- Creation and maintenance of technical (production, post-production) Sensitive Information Workflow Assessments pertaining to all DGE Content Creation data and video content
- Supporting the vetting process for all external third party applications (SaaS) used by Walt Disney’s Television and Streaming productions
- Managing updates to stakeholders to identifying and communicating accomplishments or risks on various levels, such as at an activity, project, pillar, or program level, as required for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Implementing and maintaining resource utilization metrics for both full time and third-party resources
- Collaborating with WDTV Legal and Finance partners to generate required SOWs & Purchase Orders, enable accurate financial reporting, and ensure that budget related anomalies are detected and reported appropriately
- Supporting all efforts, Policy Management, Training & Awareness programs, and Awareness Communities
- Participating in the strategic planning of Sensitive Information Protection services and identify opportunities to better service the requirements of our stakeholders
- Identifying, building and maintaining relationships with program stakeholders and key operational contacts. These relationships must be utilized to collect information relating to the effectiveness of existing services, and opportunities to better support these groups through service enhancement or implementation of additional services, within or complementary to the Sensitive Information Protection steering committee / governance framework.
Overall the Manager, Sensitive Information Protection for DGE will be responsible for:

Basic Qualifications:
- Expertise in strategy development and presentation to management
- At least 5 years of experience successfully managing technical projects from inception through completion, leveraging a variety of project management skills and methodologies
- At least 5 years of experience transforming requirements into a final deliverable
- At least 3 years of experience successfully aggregating complex, diverse and sometimes contradictory elements into a comprehensive strategy
- At least 3 years of experience in media and media security-related fields
- Understanding of Media Security (e.g. media encryption, DRM, various forms of video and audio marking and fingerprinting) required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of feature film and TV productions and post-production industries, services, and workflows (e.g., DI, editing, visual/audio effects, encoding, dubbing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
- Pro-active and must possess a hands-on, collaborative working style
- Rapidly assimilate and summarize information from disparate sources
- Strong analytical skills

Required Education
- Engineering, Communication or Business degree or equivalent required
- Media & Entertainment Industry Experience required
Preferred Education
- PMP certification is a plus
- CISSP, CISM certifications are a plus
- SSDLC in media environment is a plus
