As a manager of SEC financial reporting, you'll be responsible for overseeing, completing, and reviewing highly complex SEC accounting and financial reporting initiatives for Progressive. You’ll lead a team of accountants in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory reporting guidelines. You’ll also advise on SEC/FASB accounting rules, industry best practices and company policies and procedures.

Location: open to remote work locations, with willingness to travel to Cleveland as needed. 

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• 6 years Accounting or Finance experience (including corporate or public accounting experience)

Preferred skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with SEC reporting and accounting/financial tools
• Strong leadership skills and people management experience; ability to ensure high caliber work of accounting staff
• Excellent communication, public speaking, presentation, and project management skills
• Ability to identify and communicate accounting issues to upper level management in a timely and concise manner

Compensation

• $90,200 - $132,800/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
