Manager - Regional Programs / External Partnerships – CalAIM (PS64157)

 

Location: Must reside in California.

 

The Manager Program / Project Management is responsible for leading a team of Regional Program Managers in the development and ongoing management of several initiatives and statewide relationships that will support implementation and capacity building efforts under CalAIM.  This includes developing and spearheading local program engagement efforts; for developing policies, processes and workflows; for coordinating with team members on day-to-day program operations; and for coordinating local program status and evaluation efforts.   

 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops program budgets, ensures programs meet stated objectives, develops program success measures, and performs periodic assessments of program success.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day client facing business issues.
  • Manages external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas to promote program success.
  • Plans program/project scope and design.
  • Facilitates determination of required deliverables and validation of ROI.
  • Establishes process to continually monitor program progress.
  • Develops metrics and program/project reporting tools.
  • Responsible for championing local stakeholders and tactical decision-makers.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree, 5-7 years of experience in project/program management, process reengineering, organizational design, and/or implementation; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • 3+ years leading others in a management-level role.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience in working with the Medi-Cal population, including but not limited to seniors, persons with mental or physical disabilities, or individuals who are homeless.
  • Experience within Health Insurance industry or community programs.
  • Experience working with local community agencies preferred.
  • Experience working with external business partners.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Must have strong PC skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook).
