The Manager Regional Operations is a high profile people leader position within the MedeScreen construction team. This role is assigned a territory to manage all onsite medical and testing services for construction clients. This position has extensive management experience and highly proficient in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols. Excellent customer relations and problem solving is essential to this position

WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Direct oversight and manage Operation Lead (1) and Staff EMT/Paramedic (15-20+), including: hire, train, payroll, schedule, discipline, dismissal, 
assign goals and performance evaluations
2. Foster employee performance development planning (PDP) for all direct reports
3. Management of all project operations within assigned territory
4. Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the organization’s policies 
and procedures
5. Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet regional productivity and goals
6. Daily administration of site required drug and alcohol testing program
7. Attend client and project team quarterly safety meetings and monthly insurance calls
8. Communicate regularly with other managers, supervisors, and directors
9. Manage the preparation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly reports necessary to carry out the functions of the region
10.Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of each project in the region
11. Experienced pre-hospital provider for an assigned regional territory
12. Attend all safety Kick-off Meetings within assigned territory
13. Regular project onsite evaluations and client relations
14. Responsible for scheduling medical staff for all projects to ensure no missed shifts
15. Provide coverage for job sites to ensure staffing during vacations, paid time off, overtime, and “no call, no show” absenteeism
16.Flexible schedule, extreme/extended hours (to include nights and weekends to accommodate projects that are working extended schedules 
up to 24 hours per day/7 days per week)
17. Always “on call” for any project concerns (to include, but not limited to, medic calls about procedures or injuries, client calls/emails, scheduling 
conflicts, etc.)
18.Daily communication with projects
19. Administration of first aid and level-appropriate care according to State, Local and National guidelines
20. Communication with client risk management/case management teams for insurance worker compensation claims
21. Proper assessment of injuries and the coordination for appropriate transportation to medical facilities
22.Ensuring quality performance of all final drafts of medical reports before distribution to the client, including all aspects of case management: return 
to work limitations, ensuring compliance with all medical follow-up appointments and return to work limitations
23.Responding to calls for assistance
24.Effective communication with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel and Medical Facility Staff
25.Coordinate the onsite inventory documentation and liaison with Manager Operations Support for ordering medical supplies, testing supplies and 
equipment for assigned projects
26.Additional duties as directed by Med-eScreen management or client.

CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN ASSIGNED REGION

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

REQUIRED

• 3-4 years active EMS experience including management/supervisor role

• Experience in construction, OSHA, or worker’s compensation a plus

PREFERRED

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Extreme attention to detail and on time scheduling

• Better than average written and spoken communication skills

• Spanish a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• EMT/Paramedic • OSHA 30; STSC or CHST preferred • CPR & First Aid Instructor preferred

• Travel within designated territory, up to 50%
