Amazon has an immediate opening for a Manager of Infrastructure Product Management in our Amazon corporate office. The Product Management Team delivers complex medium to large scale projects from initiation through delivery. Your focus is on cross-functional product developments that serve major parts of the business, are business critical, and are global in nature. You may lead other program managers for large projects and influence large parts of th eportfolio to align with upcoming product releases and feature developments. This will require you to communicate across departments as an authority on project issues to business managers, engineers, and executives. You will also support critical relationships with customers, and negotiate agreements with suppliers or other external partners.
As the Manager, Product Management, you will collaborate with technical and business team members to create products/features or processes. You are the primary escalation point for project team members. You comprehend the program’s customers and advocate on their behalf, communicating business objectives to team and stakeholders to deliver the best product/feature or system/process with most efficient use of resources and technologies. You manage the creation of product/feature prototypes. You will write clear and detailed functional specifications based on complex business requirements, and serve as an authority on project issues to business managers, engineers, and other program managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Program management or similar, or relevant experience.
· 6+ years Product management experience on a global scale.
· Experience communicating with a diverse audience, including the ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing.
· Global experience with program launches in multiple geographies simultaneously.
· Good vision, process-oriented and strong problem solving skills.
· Ability to comprehend, troubleshoot, and describe complex processes and issues to colleagues at all levels of the organization.
· Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
· Experience implementing quality programs with spirit of continuous improvement.
· Ability to deliver effective customer communications and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
