The Manager, Product Insights & Analysis is responsible for delivering on the reporting and analytical needs of the Cox Business product team and their wide-ranging product portfolio. 

This individual will partner with product owners and leaders to deliver data, metrics, reports, and analytical insights in support of ongoing operational and financial needs, and new product launches.  Success in this role relies on solid business acumen, a consultative approach to working and partnering with others, and strong data analysis and reporting skills.  The Manager, Product Insights & Analysis reports to the Sr. Manager, Product Insights for Cox Business.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Product Insights point of contact for identified product owners and other client groups.

Design, build, and operationalize reports and analytical deliverables from multiple disparate data sources.

Collaborate with product owners to formulate hypotheses and develop actionable insights using data and analytical techniques.

Perform analysis in support of the business by compiling, importing, transforming, and analyzing data from a range of sources.

Support, maintain, and ensure the integrity of all owned reports and datasets on an ongoing basis.

Provide fact-based insights to product owners and partner to provide recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements.

Qualifications:

Minimum

Seven (7) or more years of experience in a related field (data analysis, etc.); five (5) or more years of experience with a relevant undergraduate degree.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills necessary to work effectively in a matrix environment.

Communication skills necessary to translate and convey complex analyses clearly and concisely in both written and verbal/presentation forms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, transform, analyze, and report significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Data visualization skills necessary to present information effectively and tell stories with data in a compelling way.

Familiarity with SQL and relational database systems including the ability to write complex queries and manipulate data.

Working knowledge of applied mathematics, assessment instrument design, and performance assessment.

Ability to compile or import data from various databases into specialized software (such as Alteryx and Tableau) for analysis.

Experience with Tableau.

Preferred

Experience in the telecommunications.

Expereince in Product Management, Product Development or Operations Management 

Experience with Alteryx, or similar analytic software.

Experience consuming and manipulating data on cloud platforms such as AWS.

Working knowledge of programming languages usable in data analysis – e.g., Python, R, etc.

Proven experience presenting to and consulting with operational leadership.
