Strategize, build a partnership plan and lead essential negotiations
Communicate with senior leaders on matters of strategic importance
Provide strategic sourcing solutions for team members.
Understand the legal, technical, and commercial aspects of contracts and communicate.
Drive efficiency opportunities, including working capital plans
Foster relationships with partners. Understand goals and needs and influence decisions to provide value to the all company partners
Provide ongoing industry insight and ensure that strategies are up-to-date for all major spend areas.
Manage appropriate internal systems ie. CMD, SAP, Scout and Clarizen
Use strategic approaches to create business relationships and creative structures to accomplish best value.
Think through processes and relationship scenarios and advise your team on value added approaches.
Lead understanding efforts with business groups.
Maintain accurate and complete contract records.
Lead RFI, RFP and RFQ processes with partners to identify and select suppliers to ensure competitive market advantage, leverage spend, improve performance and reduce costs.
Manage supplier performance reviews with we partner to measure and document supplier performance, identify development areas and establish corrective action plans for improved performance and delivery
Experienced professional with understanding of marketing and brand processes.
Background in marketing with legal contract knowledge
Market sourcing experience
Requires a BA degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Minimum 10 years of experience procuring marketing related services, including exposure to industry agency compensation methodologies, knowledge of contract terms and provisions, and a understanding of important advertising spend categories (media, content creation, e-commerce)
