Responsible for establishing departmental policies and procedures and providing oversight of the enrollment and billing staff.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 
  • Monitors staff productivity and ensures measures and goals are met or exceeded on a consistent basis. 
  • Prepares specialized reports for executive leadership as needed.
  • Manages staff inventory on a daily basis. 
  • Reviews and approves regulated operations procedures to ensure compliance with policies; supports the development of staffing plans against membership projections. 
  • This position will also actively manage the hiring and on-boarding of outsourced seasonal support necessary to sustain and enable growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree and a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role and a minimum of 2 years; or any combination of education and experience required which would provide an equivalent background. PC skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational ability.
  • Medicare Advantage and Part D experience.
  • Proficient in Medicare enrollment regulations.
  • Strong leadership attributes to manage staff onsite and virtual.
  • Sustain flexible schedule for supporting and mobilizing staff during seasonal Annual Enrollment Period dictated by business needs.

Annual Salary Range*: $64,720- $80,900

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

* The hourly or salary range is the range Anthem in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
