In this role, the Manager of FP&A will support the DVP of Global Strategic Initiatives and DVP of AN’s Quality while reporting to ANSC Assistant Controller. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to operating managers on strategic planning, Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives, budgeting, performance monitoring and variance analysis and Cashflow forecast improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • In this role, the Manager of FP&A will support the DVP of Global Strategic Initiatives and DVP of AN’s Quality while reporting to ANSC Assistant Controller. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to operating managers on strategic planning, Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives, budgeting, performance monitoring and variance analysis and Cashflow forecast improvements.
  • Prepare Plans, LBE’s, Long range forecast and monthly reporting that meet timing and quality of presentation requirements, facilitate management review and decision making while ensuring integrity of the data and compliance with GAAP as well as Abbott’s operating policies. 
  • Provide proper reporting, analysis and follow-up of actual financial results for the Global Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain Org Gross Margin Initiatives, Division QA organization and Division HQ support functions and ANSC Balance sheet and total AN’s Cash Conversion Cycle.
  • Working in conjunction with AN’s Cost leadership team and Supply Chain Operations management to identify, assess and track Gross Margin improvement initiatives. Implement and improve existing Gross margin initiatives tracking tools to increase productivity and customer services improvements.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and develop system solutions and process enhancements to improve ANSC Cashflow forecasting accuracy and insights to variances versus targets.
  • Provide financial leadership, business expertise and guidance to VP of Global AN Quality and her respective staff with a particular focus on supporting AN’s Cost of Quality Initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and development to Sr. Financial analyst. Maintain finance organization capable of meeting Division and Corporate requirements.
  • Prepare clear and concise executive management presentation materials used to communicate division financial objectives and performance.
  • Communicate with global ANSC and Other AN FP&A contacts to coordinate on routine and ad hoc management request and initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc Projects- Work on ad-hoc projects supporting gross margin improvement initiatives, financial analysis on key business issues and reporting as required.
  • Process Improvements- identify areas that can be improved and constructively propose new solutions that drive efficiencies. Develop and utilize sound financial processes to drive improved business performance.
  • Act in the role of key finance stakeholder who works with Operations and Supply Chain finance and business partners leading financial planning, forecasting and continuous improvement to support Operations management decisions making.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ Financial analysis experience. Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and power point.
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionality.

PREFERRED :

  • Experience with HFM, SAP, Essbase and Host a plus.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing finance environment.
  • Experience with creating and delivering Executive Presentations.
