• Minimum experience of 5 years in the field of industrial accounting, Cost Analyst & Financial Analyst.

• Basic pay: Negotiable
• Contract Allowance: 20% of the basic pay
• Medical Allowance: 8.33% of the basic pay

• Position Objectives
4.1. To plan, direct, control and management of Finance & Accounts and other related activities at BFAL
4.2. To supervise and analyze the cost and financial accounting of the company
• Responsibilities
5.1. Communicate with all the Head of Department & Division on assumptions and guidelines for preparation of annual budgets;
5.2. Assist Head of Department in finalizing the annual budget based on inputs from other Head of Department Division at BFAL;
5.3. Prepare budget variance analysis quarterly and highlight the deviation from approved budget to the concern department;
5.4. Undertake periodic review of achievement of financial milestones and recommend corrective action plans, as appropriate;
5.5. Assist Head of Department in preparing & finalizing the Financial Statements (Balance sheet, Comprehensive Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement);
5.6. Identify cost reduction opportunities in departmental operations through appropriate and timely information support and analysis;
5.7. Maintain available information on key operational and cost parameters at every stage of the supply chain;
5.8. Educate the relevant Department and Division on effective financial management practices and apprise them about various operational financial risks e.g., collection risks, risks on account of high inventory, risks around tax compliance etc.,
5.9. Assist Head of Department in developing strategic plans and standard processes & systems for efficient accounting and effective financial management;
5.10. Plan efficient utilization of funds through effective management of working capital; to minimize the interest costs;
5.11. Facilitate and ensure better service delivery to internal and external customers at BFAL through implementing accounts reconciliation with customers, suppliers and issue of TDS certificates etc.,
5.12. Disburse timely repayment of loan and advances to the financial institute as per the agreed payment schedules;
5.13. Facilitate setting up of monitoring systems to track compliance to all financial and accounting regulations, including taxation, customs etc.,
5.14. Assist Head of Department in closure of all NC’s identified in audit reports for the Finance and Accounting Department team within the specified timelines and prepare risk mitigation plan, as appropriate;
5.15. Ensure timely and accurate uploading of applicable financial data/transactions in the ERP system;
5.16. Continue to identify non-core activities in the Finance team, which may subsequently be outsourced to competent third parties, to improve productivity at BFAL;
5.17. Monitor the accounts receivable and payable for the various customers, vendors and suppliers in coordination with respective departments and divisions;
5.18. Review account receivable and payable reconciliations on a monthly basis, provides analysis and reports relevant to the monthly closing of the ledger;
5.19. Maintain record and control on accounts receivable and payable to achieve optimum cash flow and maintain optimum working capital ratio and review the parameters;
5.20. Maintain tracks receipts of funds, and reviews interest and principal receipts to be made from the debtors;
5.21. Maintain loan documentation and review interest and principal payments to be made to the loaning agency;
5.22. Monitor and maintain detailed record for each asset separately including investments and update it with information on depreciation, sales, repair and maintenance etc.,
5.23. Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and provide guidance, counseling and feedback to subordinates on their performance to ensure a motivated and committed team;
5.24. Ensure capability development of self and team members by overseeing implementation of appropriate training and development systems and policies;
5.25. Provide support in implementing other HR related initiatives
