Cox Communications is searching for a Manager of Enterprise Change Management who will lead the design of the change management strategy through planning, implementation, and reinforcement to drive adoption for key Residential or Business operational programs.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions 

Defines and drives execution of a comprehensive Change Management plan for key programs, creating alignment and action in support of operational goals and objectives, including leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, training, communications, and operational alignment.

Collaborates with leadership, public affairs, and the field to capture the “Voice of the Employee” and use it as input to refine the business and organization support model for change management tactics.

Demonstrates a strong ability to develop relationships and show effectiveness by consulting between Center and Regional leaders to define key initiatives, success criteria, establish comprehensive plans, and create a process framework to measure success.

Collaborates with operational teams, Regions and other functional boundary partner groups as inputs to change management tactics.

Develops necessary change communications and plans for projects/programs to help drive employee awareness, stakeholder alignment, and organizational readiness.

Facilitates and measures adoption, sustainment and compliance of new initiatives

Establishes business integration approaches across initiatives; review and approve implementation risk mitigation plans. Has the ability to understand the impact across multiple stakeholders.

Collaborates with primary boundary partners (e.g. Cox Business, Marketing/Sales, Product Management, Customer Care, Customer Experience, Field Services, Supply Chain) as required to ensure successful deployment of strategic initiatives.

Partners with key organizations to develop cross-project training and communication strategies to ensure successful deployments as required. 

Qualifications:

Minimum

7 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Change management, process improvement, project management, communications); 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

Requires strong knowledge of change management fundamentals, behavioral change, impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption measurement

Requires knowledge of change management best practices

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization – Center and Field

Proven ability to negotiate and influence successfully with Sponsors and Sr. Leadership

Ability to analyze stakeholder needs through soliciting, evaluating, problem-solving and acting upon feedback

Effective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcomes without direct lines of authority

Ability to understand and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, direction, and personal styles

Strong knowledge of Windows based applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, planning, prioritization and meeting management skills.

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Business, Marketing, etc.)

3 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects preferred 

Experience in telecommunications industry or other subscription-based business desire

Prefer certification in Change Management (i.e. Prosci)
