Cox Communications is seeking a Manager, Digital Product Insights to provide data analysis, metrics, reporting and dashboard development to support the company’s digital product portfolio including Cox.com website and the mobile app ecosystem. We are looking for someone who has a quantitative mindset with strong analytical skills to understand, model and report on digital channel adoption, engagement and customer experience. As part of the Product Insights team in the Product Development & Management organization, you will work closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Care, Marketing, Analytics COE, Technology and Operations to improve our product experience; and help to develop data-driven insights to inform Cox’s omnichannel product strategy that supports digital transformation and customer self-service opportunities.
The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of the digital space and strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to synthesize analytical insights into actionable business recommendations. A subject matter expert in web analytics, this role will engage with product owners to understand business needs and help to enable analytics-based decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups. Management tasks and deliverables for this role include operational reporting, analysis, and insight-related recommendations for both ongoing product lifecycle management needs as well as new product and feature launches.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead business analysis to provide insights into online user engagement, cross-channel customer journeys and behaviors, attribution, and containment to enhance our capabilities to better understand and target opportunities, improve customer experience and product lifecycle management.
Manage and prepare recurring reports and dashboards, including Monthly Operations Review (MOR) deliverables.
Identify and track KPI’s (key performance indicators) that measure the value of Digital product platforms, analyze and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.
Work closely with product teams and boundary partners to understand business challenges and priorities and support their reporting and analytical needs pertaining to operational performance metrics.
Implement solutions to streamline and automate reporting processes. This may include creating analyses using Adobe Analytics, building and manipulating datasets, SQL programming, and utilizing data visualization and BI tools such as Excel and Tableau.
Qualifications:
Minimum
7 or more years of experience in related field (Web Analytics, Data Analysis, Operations Management, etc.); 5 years of experience if candidate posses an advanced degree
Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of telecommunications products and services.
Hands-on technical skills, with a strong emphasis on Excel, Adobe or Google Analytics, SQL and Tableau. Ability to write complex queries and manipulate data.
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Extensive experience having built reporting and analytics solutions for web and mobile app platforms.
Proficient in data, incident, and root-cause analysis
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross functional teams throughout organization. Ability to translate and communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely.
Preferred
Experience in Product Management, Product Development
MBA or Master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business, Data Science, Mathematics, etc.).
Experience with AWS cloud platform service.
Experience with Alteryx or similar data prep tools.
Prior experience in an analytical role within or working with a product management or digital marketing organization.
