ABOUT THE TEAM

This role is within the India CC team of AISPL. The CC is the inside Business Development (BD) organisation of AISPL and is focused on new customer acquisitions across India at scale. You will have the exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally and cross-geographically, as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across BD, operations, partner, and marketing teams, while being part of an entirely new concept at AWS.

THE ROLE

As a DG Manager, you will be leading a team of Demand Generation Reps (DGRs) focused on the early stages of the customer journey. This team will assist prospects with a specific set of existing or prospect accounts, helping them to accelerate their cloud journey. The team will invest efforts of understanding customer needs and collecting their feedback as well as identifying new opportunities in a diverse customer base. This role therefore requires the individual to be a business leader that has a background in managing campaigns or business development teams. The responsibilities will also include mentoring and developing the DGRs, monitoring their performance and creating scaling mechanisms.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Hire, coach, and develop the best team of BD Associates to deliver against your BD goals
· Invest in recruiting and growing the best talent, set employees up for a great onboarding experience, and provide candid feedback for continuous development.
· Drive strong internal and external relationships in service of an outstanding customer experience and continued rapid growth.
· Set the tone for your team: Champion a culture of strong achievement, inclusiveness, collaboration, creativity, and accountability while being a champion for your team’s career development
· Build and drive territory strategy and priorities and communicate them clearly with your team. Continuously optimize our BD methodology and share ideas to improve efficiency and focus, enable greater scale, and yield better results.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize results (partner, field BD, solutions architects, marketing, specialists, etc.).
· Collaborate with BD Enablement and People Operations to develop and execute individual and group training opportunities, identify development needs, and implement process improvement initiatives.
· Use metrics and data to continually assess both growth performance and talent performance/retention to fully understand underlying drivers.

You’ll also act as an evangelist in the wider community. This includes taking part in educating and sharing best practices. You won’t just want to be part of an industry movement; you’ll want to be leading it.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 8 years of related business development experience
· 2-4 years in team management positions leading a team of Technical business development associates
· Proven track record of metrics and quota attainment
· Experience with CRM
· Analytical skills; using data to leverage and build strategic operating plans

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Record of success in an outbound or inbound BD or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-BD / technology-related environment
· Experience working with, and/or having knowledge of business technology/hardware/Saas/Software and cloud computing
· Skilled in prospecting techniques
