Our location in CHICAGO, IL, currently has an opportunity for a MANAGER, DATA ANALYTICS AND VISUALIZATION.   The Manager, Data Analytics and Visualization partners closely with the Sr. Manager, Global Growth Analytics to drive a culture of data driven decision making for Abbott Nutrition International (ANI). Responsible for developing analytics solutions globally with a focus on driving adoption of ANI’s Periscope PowerBI Platform. Works with functions, regions and affiliates to develop visualizations, dashboards and reports to support business diagnostics, performance tracking and decision making. Accountable for driving a standardized way of leveraging analytics and visualization tools across the organization to create competitive advantage for ANI teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges, design user-centric analytic views and dashboards to inform short- and long-term decision making
  • Lead the development and drives adoption of analytics and visualization best practices across global and regional teams in prioritized areas such as business diagnostics, performance tracking, strategic pricing & PPA analytics, etc
  • Collaborate with Regional Market Insights teams to develop and drive adoption of analytics solutions as part of ANI’s Periscope PowerBI Platform
  • Integrate measurement programs (digital, eCommerce, ROI, social listening) and explore novel data sets to generate unique insights
  • Collaborate closely with ANIT BI & Analytics teams to leverage best-in-class tools and capabilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field; advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive relevant experience, preferably in CPG, management consulting or a combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience. Consumer Health Care industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong business analytical skills; ability to connect the dots on disparate pieces of reporting/analysis and formulate a cohesive understanding of business performance drivers
  • Deep knowledge of syndicated retail measurement data (Nielsen/IRI/IQVIA)
  • Advanced skills in Data Visualization tools especially Power BI; Experience in data model design, dashboard, report and analysis development, publishing, etc.; Data Science skills is a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills; ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely
  • Experience deploying new analytical and dashboarding approaches in a complex and highly matrixed organization
    • Strong project management skills; successfully executing complex projects from design to completion
  • This position resides in Chicago, IL and you must be located or willing to relocate
