Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - corporate renewable energy strategy & sourcing
As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will actively manage client relationships, deliver projects to client specification, grow the business through sales and business development, lead value propositions, develop teams and coach junior personnel.
The position location will be in one of our regional offices in France (Paris), Belgium (Brussels), UK (London) and Germany.
Function
Manage customer relationship and delivery
Lead and facilitate effective client engagements: animate and drive RE strategy and sourcing projects; facilitate stakeholder engagement workshops (finance, procurement, sustainability, tax, legal); etc.
Oversee the delivery of an entire engagement, coordinating all project streams: coordinate global RE roadmap projects in collaboration with our regional colleagues from Americas and APAC; manage end-to-end sourcing projects, from solutions definition, stakeholder engagement to tendering and negotiation support for PPA, vPPA; management of large-scale on-site solar PV programs; etc.
Oversee the delivery of a technical work stream: prepare and animate RE strategy workshops for the EMEA regions; drive decision to select best-fit RE sourcing solutions mix; etc.
Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget, answerable for the project success and oversee project financials, staffing needs and regular communication to all stakeholders: produce key RE roadmaps and sourcing recommendations at executive level for decision; etc.
Contribute actively to business development
Identify business opportunities with your clients to sell-on: help identify and develop new clients; identify opportunities at existing clients to address RE lever; participate in relevant RE events and actively engage with prospects; etc.
Build impactful offers, leveraging your client knowledge and market insights: contribute to articles and studies; combine inhouse expertise to relevant offerings in RE strategy and sourcing; animate a network of RE experts; etc.
Ensure delivery of proposals under the supervision of your leadership and driving analyst/consulting team: write pitch/proposals and present to clients; etc.
Manage and develop people
Manage analysts and consultants and contribute to their skills development though coaching and mentoring: help grow sustainably our RE practice in EMEA

Background and Experience
You have a Master’s degree or MBA from a high-ranked Business School.
You have 5+ years of professional experience.
You have 3+ years of experience in consulting, particularly in projects related to energy and carbon topics
You are strongly aware of energy & climate issues and willing to contribute to the net-zero carbon transition, leveraging your knowledge of state-of-the-art renewable energy solutions.
You have an experience in renewable energy, energy markets, financial modeling or related disciplines.
You have experience of project management, commercial development and project delivery.
Communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
You demonstrate strong consulting skills: complex problem solving, high quality analysis and hypothesis testing, strong written and verbal communication skills, capacity to identify issues conjointly with clients & other stakeholders, capacity to engage in and influence negotiations and client strategic decision-making, capacity to provide clients with strong convictions around business issues and innovative ideas.
You are recognized for your interpersonal skills and relationship building: demonstrated leadership and team spirit, capacity to develop and leverage your networking, ability to develop talents.
You demonstrate a capacity to engage with clients to address complex topics in a simple way.

Nice to have: experience in carrying out quantitative techno-economic assessments with simulation models, especially within the energy sphere
Languages
You are fully proficient in English both written and spoken.
Nice to have: Knowledge of a language of one of our local offices (Dutch, French, German).
