As Communications Manager of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT), you will develop and implement communications that deliver on FCAT’s mission to ignite emerging ideas and propel Fidelity into the future. FCAT is an in-house innovation engine. We conduct research, experiment, and build products and platforms that move Fidelity forward.

The Team

We are a versatile, entrepreneurial, and dedicated team of technologists, designers, researchers, and communicators. You will report into the head of Marketing, Communications and Project Management. Internally, we bring the best of FCAT forward, improving collaboration and business unit partnership. Externally, we share our thought leadership and experiments to influence decision-making among talent prospects, prospective technology/startup partners, and Fidelity clients, among others.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a communications/social media professional: content creation, creative storytelling, videography and/or social media

  • Active curiosity about emerging trends and channels; experience finding opportunities to build new capabilities and achieve scale

  • Excellent writing skills and proven ability to create content (e.g., infographics, presentations, storyboards, podcasts, videos, social media posts) to drive key messages

  • Data-driven to provide insights and well-informed recommendations to team members

  • Passionate about new technologies and industry/cultural trends; able to communicate sophisticated and/or technical content clearly and concisely

  • Capable of problem solving and owning outcomes, collaborating across multiple teams and with business partners across all levels of the organization to accomplish goals while ensuring that efforts meet high standards for accuracy and presentation

  • Bachelor’s degree, voracious learner with a growth mindset
