Job Summary:

The Manager, Business Planning, serves as a partner to Games and Publishing (including Interactive Experiences) executive leaders, leading the identification and development of key strategic and operational growth initiatives. The Manager will work with leaders across this business hub on multiple initiatives and will help drive the five-year planning process and strategic planning function for an assigned line of business.

You will report to the Director, Business Product and Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director, Business Planning, and Publishing senior leadership in the creation of annual strategic planning process for an assigned Line of Business
  • Evaluate potential new growth opportunities, including through development of financial and quantitative analyses
  • Manage multiple Games, Interactive Experiences and Publishing-related projects
  • Identify and analyze consumer and industry trends across major markets, including through third-party research, and translate analysis into meaningful takeaways to support project narrative
  • Create compelling presentation materials to communicate essential insights and recommendations to senior-level executives
  • Develop relationships with partners across the Company
  • Maintain relationships with research and data providers (e.g., NPD BookScan),
  • Pull and analyze data from internal (e.g., DPEP financial systems) and external systems (e.g., NPD BookScan)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, retail/product strategy, or private equity
  • Analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Prioritization, critical thinking, and hypothesis development
  • Ability to think pragmatically, not just theoretically, and implement ideas
  • Teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to develop cogent arguments and present them to a range of team members, including executives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in and passion for Publishing, Games or Interactive Experiences industries

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; OR equivalent relevant experience

Preferred Education

  • Master's in Business Administration
