You are responsible for ensuring overall master data management, target setting and reporting and data analytics for the Customer Development function while driving initiatives in Customer Excellence for simplification.
How would you create a better world?
Master Data Management
Managing the master data lifecycle whilst performing in the capacity of a data owner for Daily Sales Report (DSR) Master, Retail Outlet Master, Customer Master, Business Partner Master and Customer Sales Channel Mapping.
Capturing master data from multiple sources and integrating it into an operational data store to replicate to other destination systems.
Managing quality of data, consistent classification, and data-reconciliation issues.
Performing weekly/monthly master data cleansing activities. [Ex: Weekly Outlet Master Reconciliation Report, Dormant Customer Review]
Target Setting
Setting Field Capability Score (FCS) Targets.
Setting and communicating base pack wise value targets (including max the mix) Gross Sales Value (Primary) and List Price (Secondary).
Setting and processing Base Pack wise value channel/category targets.
Setting outlet wise category and value targets.
Setting DSR wise category, value and FCS targets.
Preparing monthly FCS compliance reports to view month on month FCS, category and value targets vs achievements and trends.
Providing relevant achievements to recognize the most successful Salespersons and Account Managers for sales contests.
Setting upliftment factor for IQ input and providing Outlet Masters as IQ input.
Evaluating Joint Business Planning (JBP) value targets.
Setting DSR level targets in value drives.
Ensuring the integrity and quality of data warehouse
Ensuring secondary sales data reconciliation is done between systems and signing off at the end of each period.
Ensuring all monthly sales-related data transmitted by distributors are fully available in Next Generation Distributor Management System (NGDMS) on stipulated closing dates.
Managing SAP user logins (create, extensions) for the Customer Development.
Managing all information and warehouse related complaints from end-users and resolving the open path, ensuring speed and accuracy of the information in the data warehouse.
Identifying needs for Business Information Warehouse (BIW) skills improvement and scheduling group and individual BIW user trainings for the Customer Development cluster.
Carrying out end-user UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for BIW changes in effect to secondary sales, to validate and provide operating controls, ensuring the development requirements are satisfied.
Actively participating in change request design reviews by providing creative & practical ideas and solutions in a team environment to provide a business degree of creativity and latitude.
Creating information dashboards and managing data sets accordingly.
TTS (Trade Terms Structure) customer settlement and ensuring accuracy
Generating and publishing budget utilization analysis to monitor and get the best outcome of the schemes.
Generating, reviewing, and publishing Trade Terms Structure claim reports for payments.
Managing the claim portal.
Liaising with the field IT Manager to ensure 100% accuracy on claim reports by closing on time secondary invoice deliveries.
Liaising with Customer Services and channel marketing teams to ensure all budgets are clear to process claims.
Handling customer complaints and claims from field teams on TTS and supporting Customer Services to obtain nil claim certificates on time by ensuring on-time claims.
Information Reporting
Submitting primary sales reports daily to the top management and field sales teams to monitor ‘targets vs achievements,’ in area level and category wise.
Compiling reports on secondary sales ‘targets vs achievements for value, FCS and category.
Monitoring daily stock days on a Customer, Area & Regional level in distributive trade and other channels.
Sharing Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) wise balance stock/ in transit/ non-moving and slow-moving reporting.
Submitting alcohol-based product data to Supply Chain Procurement to obtain an alcohol license.
Reporting on secondary sales data for ROI confirmation of BPs to monitor monthly BP investment profitability.
Driving appeals, evaluating, and providing independent reviews.
Reporting on quarterly growth champions (Distributive Trade/ Modern Trade)
Reporting on ‘before-after growth tracker’ on projects.
Preparing the primary in-transit invoice details report.
Preparing the BP channel-wise product report.
Conducting customer value analysis as per global guidelines to identify the BP risk on the business.
Business Partner Appointment
Creating the customer account in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by collating all required documents.
Maintaining an archive of all documents received for customer account creation.
Creating and maintaining a ‘Ship to party’/ ‘Bill to party’ customer code.
Image Recognition Audit (Inspector Cloud)
Liaising with Inspector Cloud regional teams and working on master data management.
Generating IR reports for local teams and providing analytics.
Maintaining and managing master data for audits.
Driving audit processes with Distributive Trade and Modern Trade front-end.
Managing the IC tool and handling payments.
Upgrading and maintaining portfolio in IC.
The Asset Bank Management (TAB)
Liaising with TAB regional teams and working on master data management (E-com assets)
Maintaining and managing master data for TAB.
Governing the TAB process in Unilever Sri Lanka.
Liaising with Marketing, E-Route to Market and E-commerce Teams for asset maintenance.
IQ Management
Liaising with regional teams and working on master data management for IQ.
Generating IQ reports and providing local teams with analytics.
Maintaining and managing master data for IQ.
Driving the billing process with Distributive Trade and Modern Trade front-end.

What’s important for you to have in this position?
Candidate must be a graduate or have completed an equal professional qualification in Statistics/Analytics or any other related field. Any IT related background (eg: computer science) will be an added advantage.
Candidate must have at least 3 years of working experience in analytics field.
Having end to end knowledge in system implementation will be an added advantage
Candidate must be conversant in MS Excel, and working knowledge in PowerBI will be an added advantage.
Have good understanding in business & operations.
Have strong stakeholder management skills and ability to take ownership for tasks.
Strong analytical skills to translate insights to actionable tasks.
