The Dell Technologies Professional Services organization is looking for a Global Technical Lead focused on our Managed Services solutions for private, 5G wireless networks. The successful candidate will work closely with the Telecom Systems Business Unit and the services product management organizations developing comprehensive plans and actions for delivery enablement of telecom infrastructure managed service offers and sustaining solutions that are part of the managed delivery models. To develop enablement plans, this individual will work closely with technology SMEs and understand the specific needs of delivery stakeholders.

What you’ll achieve:
As a Managed Services Global Technical Lead you will be responsible for leading the global communities of SMEs​ and being the main POC for enablement of a managed services portfolio supporting customers’ private, 5G wireless networks.  With a good mix of technical skills, understanding of customer desired business outcomes and Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions, you will be a global lead technologist ensuring our managed service delivery teams have skills in support of the Dell Technologies Managed Services mission.

You will:

  • Define skills required to implement infrastructure managed services solutions for 5G wireless networks.
  • Review new service offer program documents and provide comment
  • Enable managed service delivery plans globally at service launch​, owning the readiness plan checklist​
  • Work with Dell Technologies Education Services to determine training requirements and mode of training delivery​, as well as lab requirements & capabilities​ to support modern service delivery
  • Support partner enablement activities
  • Prepare and deliver executive updates for functional stakeholders on program summaries, status and needs

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience including IT infrastructure architecture with a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Extensive Telecom experience in the areas of Next Gen Core, Services Edge, RAN, Next Gen Operations, Automation, Security, Wired/Wireless Transport, Mobile Edge Compute, or Private Wireless
  • Understanding and implementation of DevOps pipelines and automation in a 4G/5G telecom applications space including design, maintenance and governance of multi-vendor CI/CD/CT/CQ pipelines
  • Experience with Dell hardware; Experience with key Telecom Hardware + Software partners
  • Understanding of change management & service management best practice


Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with 4G/5G telecom network products from leading vendors like Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, Affirmed, Altiostar, Mavenir
  • Knowledge of public and private cloud architecture and associated technologies (e.g. endpoint security, network security, Cloud security, IAM, etc.)
