As a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for the overall upkeep, troubleshooting, preventative care and repair of our mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment.

Key Job Responsibilities and Position-Related Duties

• Possess advance knowledge working with high-speed production/manufacturing equipment (troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining)
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, & calibration.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, & information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
• Clean, lubricate, & adjust parts, equipment, & machinery.
• Disassemble machinery & equipment to remove parts & make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage & excessive wear.
• Observe & test the operation of machinery & equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters& other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery & equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Repair & maintain the operating condition of industrial production & processing machinery & equipment.
• Troubleshoot & repair machine electrical & controls malfunctions such as 3-phase motor replacements, photo eye adjustments, servos, machine timing & circuit replacements, etc.
• Cut & weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, & assemble new equipment.
• Demonstrate equipment functions & features to machine operators.
• Record parts & materials used, & order or requisition new parts & materials as necessary.
• Perform other tasks & special assignments as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, General Education or Equivalent
• Technical and/or Vocational Training or Equivalent Work Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years' Experience working with high-speed, industrial equipment
