The primary function of the Maintenance Manager position is to manage the maintenance activities in the processing and packaging of all production, utilities and facilities related equipment. The individual will be responsible for leading the implementation of maintenance strategies for the facility including ownership of the Planned Maintenance Standard for the facility. Elements of that strategy will address safety, planning/scheduling, staffing, preventative and corrective maintenance, storeroom, continuous improvement and training.

What you will do

 â€¢ Support development partnerships between maintenance and operations, creating a customer/provider relationship. 
ʉۢ Support GMP, FDA, Calibration and EHS plant initiatives.
 â€¢ Ensure maintainability of new installations. 
 â€¢ Establish a comprehensive lubrication program. 
 â€¢ Prepare, submit, and manage maintenance expense budget line items. 
ʉۢ Coordinates activities of the Maintenance Planner/scheduler to ensure materials and resources are readily available.
ʉۢ Coordinates Continuous Improvement projects.
 â€¢ Design and monitoring of an effective and economically justified preventive maintenance program 
ʉۢ Maintain and analyze equipment data and history records to optimize the maintenance program
ʉۢ Performs other duties as assigned
ʉۢ Complies with all policies and standards

Basic Required Qualifications:

 â€¢ Bachelor's Degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
 â€¢ At least 7 years production /operation management experience.  
 â€¢ Working knowledge of GMPs/OSHA Regulations; lean manufacturing tools and predictive maintenance principles 
ʉۢ Working knowledge of PLC, instrumentation electronics, and maintenance repair techniques.
