Management of PM schedule and Maintenance Team

Complete tasks as required by following industry accepted policies and practices for a general maintenance support team.
Be able to work within a team structured environment and still perform solo as needed with minimal direct supervision.
Perform various maintenance responsibilities, with the ability to stop and start multiple tasks when necessary to assure priorities get immediate response.
Exercise judgment and initiative in planning ahead, anticipating problems and completing job assignments.
Maintain an open and honest relationship with team members and management. Support the efforts of the team and ultimately the business.
Manage own time for task completion. Be in work area on time and exemplify good work habits and commitment to all jobs well done.
Utilize appropriate safety equipment, personal protective equipment, and assure all applied safety practices are followed. Be conscious of the entire facility and equipment and demonstrate the ability to not only recognize, but make recommendations for correcting any potential safety hazards.
Have personal knowledge of and demonstrate the ability to use, operate, and maintain multiple types of powered tools and equipment. Be responsible for, and have the ability to maintain and use a company provided set of general maintenance tools.
Have the knowledge and ability to operate, troubleshoot, order replacement parts for, perform scheduled preventative maintenance on and make needed repairs to all company equipment, machines, and systems.
Good housekeeping practices and habits are expected. This includes the maintenance department and any site throughout the facility that the member works in.
Requires the interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels. This includes all manufacturing and office personnel, including senior management.
Must possess a support services approach and understand the importance of supporting the needs of all customers, whether external or internal. Have an “everyone is my customer†attitude, at all times.
Understand all downtimes on machines and drive for improvement through BOS charts and PDCAs
Manage Waste Management hoppers
Facilitate repair of lift trucks and sweeper
Coordinate any outside contractors coming into CIF for maintenance and repair tasks
May perform other duties within the facility as assigned.
Heavy lifting at times up to fifty (50) pounds.
May perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma (GED) required.
Work experience of two or more years in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Team oriented approach.
Functional Abilities:
o Lifting and carrying parts ranging from (1) ounce to (50) pounds.
o Grasping and moving parts and tools ranging in size.
o Repeated bending, pushing and pulling (4) to (8) hours per day.
o Walking and standing (4) to (8) hours per day.
o Identifying repair parts and components, reading parts and service manuals. Drawing and blue prints, reading and following instructions, complete appropriate maintenance PM and repair work orders.
o Communicating with team members, other team, outside vendors and all levels of internal management.
