As Project Manager, you will be involved in our ambitious and exciting opportunities, as we accelerate our transformation to suit the changing needs of our Customer. Our Logistics projects are at the heart of our Food strategy which is to transform and Modernise our End to End Supply Chain by developing a Network fit for the future

As part of the Food Logistics Strategy Team, the key areas of focus will be linked to Network modelling, 3PL Management and New Projects relating to the growing our Logistic capacity within our Network opportunities

You will be highly organised, enjoy working at pace and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and have strong relationship building and communication skills

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Ability to use and manipulate data to inform actions, review and follow up changes and measure success
  • Work cross-functionally across several functions, these include; Supply chain, IT, Engineering, Finance, Logistics and 3PL
  • Work with Product Owners through feasibility and design of the project ensuring the right solutions are implemented
  • Coordinate internal and external resources (SME’s, Stakeholders, suppliers and partners) in a cohesive manor to ensure the project is successful and delivered to plan
  • Keep key business partners aligned and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to run effective workshops, which include requirements gathering, process mapping, interdependencies and risks
  • Generate project plans with key milestones
  • Ensure effective management of deliverables to time, quality and cost and benefit tracking
  • Create presentation material to enable stakeholder engagement and sign off at appropriate check points on delivery
  • Ability to generate effective implementation plans for business process change, to enable the smooth transition to BAU to include RACI and PIR

Key skills

  • Strong Analytical Capability
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI Experience
  • An experienced Project Manager with a background in project/programme management
  • Good knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and agile). Prince 2 or similar project management accreditation desirable but not essential
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise
  • Able to demonstrate a proven record of delivering complex and fast paced projects, to time, cost, scope and benefit
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge, influence and inform others
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly and expertly
