Becoming a Logistics Officer with Capita EMS:
As a Logistics Officer based our site in Knowsley, you will be responsible for maintaining levels of resources and monitoring equipment for all field operations. This role is crucial in the operation of our field team and ensuring our service runs smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
Ensure timely receipt and distribution of equipment to and from suppliers, FSCs and home-based FMOs (Field Monitoring Officer)
Ensure that agreed stock levels are achieved and maintained in all FSAs and by all home-based FMOs
Collate daily requirements from home-based FMOs, using faxed stock sheets, agree and plan quantity to be despatched
Complete and communicate a daily despatch plan with the logistics FLM
Use logistics company’s systems to place orders for despatch to home-based FMOs, and pick and pack orders ready for collection
Receive returns from logistics company and scan back into EMS systems –
Test equipment including HMU downloads, tampers and receipt/return from/to home-based FMOs
Maintain all relevant spreadsheets including weekly stock audit and the recording of HMU download, tampers, HfE Log and equipment recovery summary packs (ER summary packs to be processed from all

Ability to use MS Office packages
Experience of stores/logistics work
Excellent organisational skills

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
