• Be self-motivated and disciplined.

• Work efficiently when carrying out routine & breakdown maintenance.

• Promote continuous improvement and change through own initiatives by raising the awareness of plant issues and improvements to the engineering team leader.

• Assist with an effective fault response service in line with business requirements, i.e. holiday cover, or increase in business requirements.

• Attend presentations and briefings given to the engineering team in an effective and timely manner.

• Ensure all reporting, recording, and administration requirements are achieved i.e. filling out daily reports.

• Ensure that you are trained for all identified activities that you carry out on a day to day basis, ensure this is on your report sheet and that you have signed documentation to support these areas.

• Ensure that you are continually walking the plant looking for potential issues; report these to the Team Leader or Engineers as they arise as well as putting this information onto your report.

• Be flexible in your approach and communicate effectively to your team members and other departments within the operation.

• Follow all H&S guidelines that are in place such as Essow’s and where you feel necessary suggest amendments.
