Job summary
Amazon Learning Services is looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) Support Analyst to support our rapidly growing learning initiatives at Amazon. The LMS Support Analyst will be responsible for managing the customer inquiries and solutions to support their training programs. To do this, they must become proficient in using our internal instance of Cornerstone OnDemand in order to consult, implement and maintain learning programs at Amazon across our business lines while conforming to the pre-defined SLAs. The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate customer obsession mindset and be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate should have knowledge of adult learning theory and learning management systems. They must also be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done while insisting on the highest standards.
Key job responsibilities
* Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for the LMS, answer questions and trouble shooting from any user of the LMS system in a timely manner.
* Establish, monitor, and support best practices for LMS use across regions
* Partner with our vendor, Cornerstone, to escalate and investigate customer issues and quarterly release management.
* Develop and maintain LMS training/job aids
* Train key stakeholders on LMS functionality
* Collaborating with Global Leadership Partners, instructional designers, program managers, and other stakeholders in understanding and implementing technology solutions for use in a variety of learning interventions.
* Working with the team to effectively use Learning Management Systems (LMS), web portals, Learning Record Stores (LRS), AWS services and technologies to store and implement learning solutions and track data that can be used to evaluate and enhance learning programs.
* Work collaboratively with the Amazon teams to ensure we are operationally effective and abiding by best practices in a global, matrixed organization
* Identify and pursue opportunities for organizational efficiency by strategically partnering with colleagues across the company
* Provide technical advice and guidance on the integration of technology into training
* Contribute to legal and information security reviews for new and proposed technologies
* Partner with stakeholders cross-system integration of data through APIs or other means
* Manage projects and processes in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
* Identify and pursue opportunities for organizational efficiency by strategically partnering with colleagues across the company
· 3+ years’ experience in HR or related field
• Bachelors degree is mandatory
• 3+ years of LMS experience with Cornerstone OnDemand
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, such as Cornerstone, Thinking Cap, or similar.
• Prior experience with eLearning/Instructional design principles
* Creative problem solving around technical processes, workflow and user experience
* Ability to build structure around large, complex and changing programs (e.g. learning paths, curriculum)
* Developing web-based platforms and learning solutions, using the appropriate mix of development and prototyping.
* Familiar with tools and technology including SharePoint, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery, full-stack web development, front-end frameworks, JSON, XML, and xAPI
* Ability to make decisions when all necessary information is not available
* Flexible and understands how to get things done in an unstructured environment
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Strong interpersonal communication skills required with an overall positive and professional disposition; ability to work well within a team environment
* Able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, possess a high level of self-motivation, and have an excellent work ethic
