Come and work with the UK based TIM team, you will have the opportunity every day to expand your knowledge and delight our customers. We work exclusively in the live arena on major sporting events.

A day in the life
Will be liaising with production, the business team and are third party pops, coordinating facilities, requirements and working on ways to improve service for our customers. You will work closely with the accounts department on forecasting monthly expenditure for events.

About the hiring group
The TIM team are spread out across the world, we work as interface between all departments ensuring that we deliver high quality pictures and sound to delight our customers watching on Amazon prime video. We work in a live environment so bias for action and thinking on your feet are a prerequisite.

Job responsibilities

Prime Video is currently seeking a Live Technical Integration Manager to work with external and internal technology partners to manage technical integration for live sport events. This role will focus on developing strong technical partnership with live broadcasters, Telco suplyer, live media solution providers, AWS and Prime Video engineering teams. The Live Technical Integration Manager will design and improve the specifications and workflows for acquisition and ingestion of live video content, drive innovations in live broadcast at scale on Prime Video. This role also represents Prime Video to the wider digital video industry, contributing to working groups and helping to define future live broadcast standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth knowledge of live video broadcast and related industry standards, and have a proven track record of working on scalable solutions for the ingestion and processing for live video.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in distributing broadcast contribution signals
· Experience with managing new contracts and legal documents
· Experience with managing budgets and forcasting
· Experience working at a TV Network, Broadcaster, or an internet streaming platform specializing in live video transmission, processing and delivery technologies.
-Basic project management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with live PCR and MCR
· Experience booking Broadcast services
· Good client services
· knowledge in UHD, HDR video production and streaming
