**2nd Shift - Wednesday to Sunday 3:30 pm to 12 midnight - 10% differential pay**

This role provides support in resolving technical issues for Truist\'s Linux systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Performs problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution. In this capacity, performs scripting, configuration, and debugging activities.

2. Responds to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets.

3. May analyze trends with technical issues and provide input to developing short- or long-term improvements.

4. Documents all relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents.

5. May have occasional contact with end-users.

6. Works within standard guidelines

7. Candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

8. Analyzes basic information and makes decisions within guidelines to solve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\'s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

2. Foundational knowledge of business concepts and terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 1-2 years’ experience working with Linux servers and applying patches

2. Experience writing shell scripts and Ansible playbooks.

3. Banking or financial services experience
