Total Annual pay: £39,543 - 46,845 (Inclusive of 20% Shift Premium)
Overtime may also be available, in addition to your contractual hours
New LGV drivers joining the business before November to support the Partnership through Peak will receive a welcome payment of £1,000, payable at the end of January 2022.

Pay and Hours:
Working hours are 43 hours per week, working days are 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis. With start times between 11:00 - 16:00.
Your performance will drive your pay and progression here at Waitrose & Partners. We believe in truly rewarding Partners for their hard work. You’ll regularly meet with your People Manager to discuss your performance and set goals throughout the year so that you can understand what to work on.
More about the role:
Complete all branch / warehouse deliveries and supplier collections within given timescales
Complete all daily vehicle checks and follow correct defect reporting procedures
Complete all required documentation accurately
Operate the vehicle in a safe and economical manner at all times ensuring that it is maintained in a clean and tidy state
Effectively communicate problems and delays to all relevant parties
Safely loading and unloading whilst complying with the correct procedures for given location
Maintain a full knowledge of the Highway code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations and Vehicle operations
Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety legislation and Operational procedures are adhered to and to work within Health and Safety guidelines at all times ensuring the safety of self and others
Required Qualifications:
Valid UK LGV1 C+E driving licence (with a maximum of 6 points)
Valid (DCPD) Drivers Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience of driving an articulated lorry
Desirable Experience:
