Must have a proven understanding of, and demonstrable experience advising on, UK and European directives, laws, and regulations relating to credit, debit cards, prepaid cards, and mobile wallets as well as consumer protection and financial services more generally.
Primary responsibilities will include advising the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce management team on a wide range of issues relating to offering and using consumer financial products and services through mobile wallets. YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO:1. serve as product counsel and shape responses to legal and regulatory requirements applicable to consumer financial services and products; 2. advise on the legal aspects of Apple’s relationships with third parties in the payments industry; and 3. understand and translate the directives, laws, and regulations that apply to banks, payment networks, payment schemes, and other participants in the payments industry.
