We are the world’s leading museum of urban transport. Every year we work with thousands of visitors and programme participants, business partners and industry decision-makers to ignite curiosity and shape London’s future!  Through a range of programming, exhibitions and digital content, we aim to welcome everyone, provide genuine life opportunities for London’s most disadvantaged, stimulate new ideas and connections and engage with and respond to local London needs.

role is part of the Adult and Family Learning Team – a team which delivers an innovative and dynamic programme of events for adult, family and general audiences at the Museum in Covent Garden, the Museum Depot in Acton, off-site across the TfL network with heritage vehicles and online.

  • Report and celebrate the progress of the programme.

  • Build strong relationships across our two sites in Covent Garden and Acton Depot with a diverse group of stakeholders, including schools, community organisations, other LTM departments, funders and Transport for London.

  • Ensure that families have a range of opportunities to be involved with LTM and that all work seeks to build lifelong relationships and future visitors.

  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders – particularly Marketing, Operations and Visitor Services teams – to ensure that the family programme is visible, valued and integrated with the wider work of the Museum.

  • Fully and consistently evaluate and measure impact of the family programme to inform its on-going development.

  • Line manage the Adult and Family Learning Assistant role, to ensure administrative support is given throughout the team.
