Baker Hughes Digital Technology Sourcing is seeking a Software Commodity Leader to identify and drive proactive global strategies for the commodity with a clear focus on key sourcing metrics including costing savings, payment term improvements, supplier relationship management, quality improvement and cross functional project management across all Baker Hughes Product Companies and Regions. 
 

As Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
 

• Leading market trend analysis, external bench marking, spend analysis, supplier rationalization, development, supplier risk, performance, and compliance
• Achieving cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identifying additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with goals and objectives
• Partnering with customers to understand and complete contractual agreements and frameworks
• Collaborating with Digital Technology Leaders in setting realistic operational goals and objectives
• Collaborating with other planning team members and engineering and sourcing functions in order to update the schedule based on their inputs.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

• Demonstrate solid experience in Sourcing and procurement environment
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, customers, partners, and employees.Excellent communication skills
