Your Role:
Our Software Engineers are energetic influencers who thrive on designing simple and scalable solutions to complex problems and delivering leading-edge software products for our customers. We are looking for exceptionally ambitious and communicative hands-on individuals who are comfortable collaborating within the Agile methodology as part of a cross-functional team, have experience working in fast-paced environments, and who have the passion and skills to take our product offerings to the next level.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader in a collaborative team environment that encourages you to perform at your best, while contributing to the engineering efforts of one of our scrum teams. You will be challenged to engineer right-sized solutions for complex business problems. You will apply your knowledge of modern software design, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks, with an understanding of application performance and maintainability. You will aspire to use new technologies and challenge yourself to develop innovative solutions. You will work alongside developers and technical leads on a team where collaborative programming and mentoring are regularly practiced.
Your Duties:
Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing success to the organization
Lead team of engineers in design & implementing key technical projects
Able to articulate key issues and draft action plans and communicate with management
Execute on platform and applications roadmap deliverables
Develop and deliver enhancements that meet or exceed customer needs
Proactively collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders to deliver business-impacting projects
Develop high performance, scalable and secure solutions
Enhance and maintain tools to support enhanced catalogs
Plan and deliver core technology upgrades
Diagnose, design, and implement solutions to key technology or application problems
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is $1.00 – 10.00/hour. The hourly rate may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.
Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Qualifications:

7 + years of professional full-time work experience with direct hands-on software development in a senior technical role
BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of education
Experience delivering software in cloud-based systems
Object-oriented design experience
Strong C# .NET skills and object-oriented design experience, including:
Extensive knowledge of related technology platforms
Applied use of design patterns and REST
MVC & UI technologies such as AngularJS or ReactJS
Data management (SQL and NoSQL technologies)
What We Look For
Prior experience building/maintaining a public-facing API Product (API management tools)
API experience or knowledge regarding:
Hands-on experience working with AWS API gateway
Solid understanding of usage plans
API monetization strategies
Contract first API design experience
Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
Advanced degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related field
Ability to drive all phases of the development cycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, rollout, and support
Must be an effective communicator
Ability to influence other supporting teams such as product, QA, DevOps, etc. to achieve objectives
Ability to break work into incremental chunks that deliver value
Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements
Ability to turn high-level requirements into a working system through iterative development
Knowledge of development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Fisheye, SVN, Eclipse, or equivalent
High energy, confident, ambitious, and self-motivated individual
Engages and mentors other Software Engineers
