The Role

You work in partnership with Squad Leaders and other Chapter Leaders aligned to the Risk Workstation

Highly technical individual with a proven track record in software development for Fin-tech companies alike. You are deeply committed to contributing value to our customers. In an agile structure you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to develop new solutions for Risk Management and work on Risk Management Business priorities.

This position will be in SMT primary home base with a combination of both in office and remote working, manager discretion.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Proven experience working with Agile teams and a detailed understanding of Agile SCRUM principles (business analysis, story writing, acceptance testing, end user certification).

Strong technical knowledge in front, middle and or back-office operations 5-7+ years working experience with brokerage, broker dealer, Technology & Data focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing o improve the value delivered.

AWS Cloud Certified, PostgreSQL, My SQL

RDS Oracle 19c

UML/Design/Systems design etc…

Familiar with Java, Angular, AngularJS, Ionic4, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and Spring.

Working experience in Agile environment is a must.

Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON APIs is required.

TDD, CI/CD, and Automating the regression testing skills.

Containerization and AWS exposure.

Innovative mindset to contribute and deliver new ideas and solutions.

Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and data mining skills are required.

Exposure to Oracle, and ability to write simple SQL queries.

Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus.

Responsible for modernizing applications.

Responsible for developing applications architecture.

Deliver high quality product, with a great cohesive team.

Participate in Code reviews for the Scrum team.

Be an active member of an Agile team.
