LightStream\'s Software Engineers develop next-generation banking and finance technologies. We\'re looking for Engineers with experience working in financial institutions who are ready to raise the bar, bring new ideas, and change the way that banking technology is built and delivered.  As a Software Engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to LightStream’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer for iOS and Android Mobile Apps, you will develop mobile applications, design and implement full stack app foundation features as well as core app features from ground-up that enable devices to provide delightful user experiences.
 

Responsibilities
·      Work on Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud services, and tools.
·      Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve mobile applications.
·      Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
·      Build products that can scale for users across the country.
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and eight to twelve years of experience as a developer or equivalent education and related training or experience

2. Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge

3. Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes 4. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices

5. Ability to lead complex projects

6. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems

7. Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience

2. 5 years of experience in Android and iOS mobile applications, cloud services, and tools
3. Experience working with iOS or Android mobile applications in Swift or Kotlin
4. Experience in software development using one or more general purpose programming languages
5. Experience with APIs, AWS, Device and Network management
6. Ability to share knowledge through formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, giving technical talks, teaching classes, and/or as a consultant on projects
7. Ability and interest to learn other coding languages, as needed
