    As the Lead Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating end to end marketing plans for our business and commercial customers. You will work with our senior leadership team and heads of to create marketing strategies that are effective, creative, meet customer needs and also assists in the Banks wider growth plans.

    So what would you be doing?
    • Developing, executing and evolving go-to-market strategies and campaigns from creative positioning through to demand generation, customer engagement and retention
    • Mapping marketing activity and communications across the end to end customer journey that are consistent and aligned to customer segmentation models
    • Develop a content marketing strategy and thought leadership programme
    • Supporting local business managers with lead generation ensuring the right tools and capability are in place
    • Working hand in hand with Product and Digital teams to align strategies to business objectives
    • Develop customer lifecycle plans to nurture, grow and retain ensuring a single customer view across touchpoints
    • Driving innovation in marketing and how we operate, being an advocate and subject matter expert for business marketing

    • Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
    • Naturally, you will have previous experience working as a Senior Marketing Manager, in growth or performance marketing
    • Ideally you will have previous experience working in financial services and experience in B2B or account based marketing
    • You will have a laser like focus on delivering customer centric propositions, marketing strategies and activities that deeply meet customer needs and deliver on our ambitious business growth objectives
    • You’ll have extensive project management skills in multi-functional projects, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all level
    • Your go-to-market experience will be ‘through the line’ and you’ll be experienced in managing agency relationships
    • We need you to be a strategic thinker with critical analysis skills, as you’ll need to work with customer insight and business data to create strategic go-to-market plans, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation
    • You’ll have a strong analytical ability to pursue the most cost-effective and profitable ROI
