Job Purpose and Impact

The Lead IAM Engineer – Access and Authentication Product lines will provide domain expertise to design and develop the capabilities of the company identity and access platform and the automation of application deployment pipelines to the identity and access platform. In this role, you will be an essential partner and technical specialist for identity and access platform development and provide thought leadership on overall security and authentication issues across an entire development pipeline.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain awareness of new security and authentication trends and recommend tools and techniques for the organization.
• Consult and advise a broad and diverse software engineering team on architecture, development, pipeline management and authentication and access security concerns and other engineering software products and platforms.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and support at various different areas within a software development pipeline and ensure that security risks are mitigated at all stages.
• Understand application patterns for project identity and access software hosting and create new feature sets.
• Design continuous integration and delivery pipelines with infrastructure as code and use automation and testing capabilities to facilitate automated deployment of applications.
• Assemble and prioritize pipeline security features based on technical and business requirements.
• Lead the technical planning and implement the strategies of software product and risk mitigation technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.
• Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency with modern engineering practices to ensure product quality
• Experience conducting complex application development across multiple subject areas
• Experience providing leadership to an identity services platform for highly scalable production applications
• Experience creating and supporting fully automated identity authentication platform solutions
